This page is to be used for estimating your project price for restoration work. See the images below that look the most similar to the level of damage your photo has. Be sure to read descriptions for more info. Please note that these prices do not include prints/enlargement costs.
Photo Restoration
Level I: $25 - $50
Little to no damage - this level is used mainly for photo copying, cropping and slight exposure/color correction.
Level II: $50 - $75
Light dust and scratches, minimal or no damage to faces, simple background. Slight work needed for exposure and/or color balance.
Level III: $75-$225
Damage occurring across face(s) and/or moderate amount of dust/scratches. Color balance and exposure correction included.
Level IV: $250-$450
High level of skill and hours involved. Reconstruction to non-facial areas of the image, scratches across face(s), color/exposure correction. Light texture removal across photo.
Level V: $500 + up
Extensive reconstruction needed, retexturing, replacing elements, hand "painting" features in digitally, moderate to severe color/exposure correction. Texture removal across entire image.
Colorization: $75-$150
Adding color to a black & white, sepia or faded photograph. In some cases, re-colorization is necessary in order to complete a restoration, even if the original photo was in color. Price is based on complexity of image.
